So once again, I've changed my idea. Although I haven't mentioned it in the past on here, my idea has developed and changed many times. Each idea has similar themes and the central character has stayed relatively the same. 'Charlie', 'Dale' and Mark are essentially the same person. They are all insecure, and anxious and self concsious. Mark was married. Charlie was cheating o his wife. Dale was a single man struggling to make a living as a comedian, now he's also married. Dale Saxton is the character I'm settling on. For now. I haveto start locking down my idea. I think this is the one. Dale is a struggling comedian who works as a mail boy in a large office building.

I've had trouble keeping my idea small. I keep thinking of different ideas and scenes to add to the story, but it gets too big. At the moment I've got about four drafts for a feature.

I thnk this idea will work though. I should get back to writing.

Ciao.

A blog is born

And so, it begins...

I'm currently writing the script. It needs an ending.
Endings can be tricky. You want to keep away from cliches, but you can't make it too long, and it has to be interesting, and fun, with twists and turns, maybe a love interest, action! violence! guns! blood! piss! guts! war! love! femme fetale. Is that how you spell femme fetale. I'll never know...

I had an old script, The Day It Went. I did about 4 drafts but I couldn't make it work as a short film. So I'm saving it for later. It's in the drawer. I'll come back to it, some day. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but some day...

I have borrowed some themes and ideas from The Day It Went, however. The protagonists are quite similar. Nervous people. Neurotic. Anxious. Self-conscious. Pitiful. But they mean well, and that's all we can ask of them.

Food for thought:
